Tradeskit.ai is a small, independently built set of free tools for tradespeople and local service businesses. This page explains, in plain terms, what we collect when you use the site, why we collect it, and what we will never do with it.
What we collect
What you type into a tool.When you run one of our generators (estimates, invoices, review responses, job descriptions, follow-up texts) or the agent-readiness scan, we save the details you enter — including job descriptions, materials, and the dollar figures you provide — along with which tool and pricing option you used. We use this to understand how the tools are used in the real world, fix what isn't working, and decide which new tools to build.
Basic usage data. We record which pages are visited, general device type (mobile or desktop), and a one-way hashed identifier derived from your IP address. The hash lets us enforce free daily limits and understand traffic without storing your actual IP address.
Email address. If you provide your email — to keep using a tool, to join the list, or to subscribe to Pro — we store it so we can deliver the service and, where relevant, contact you about your account.
Payment information. Pro subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Payment card details are handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.
How we use it
We use the information above to run and improve the tools, build new ones, provide the Pro service and support, and keep the site working and secure. That's it.
What we never do
We do not sell your information. We do not show third-party ads or let advertisers target you here. We don't share what you enter into the tools with other users. The pricing and job details you enter are treated as your data, used to operate and improve the service — not handed off to anyone for marketing.
Third parties we rely on
The site runs on standard infrastructure providers (hosting, database, and Stripe for payments), and the AI generation is powered by a third-party model provider that processes your tool inputs to produce the result you asked for. These providers process data only to deliver the service.
Keeping & removing your data
We keep information for as long as it's useful for running and improving the tools. If you'd like your email removed from our list or your stored information deleted, just ask and we'll take care of it.
